Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD LANGE November 28, 1915 - September 8, 2001 On September 8, 2001, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Eddie left us to join his girls in heaven. Eddie is predeceased by his daughter Judy Cressock (March 23, 1989) and Martha (April 24, 2001) his wife of 58 years. Left to cherish his memory is his son Jim (Judy), granddaughters, Heather (Wayne) and Tarryl (Garry) and great-grandson Jace Raden Hodges. In addition, Eddie leaves behind son-in-law Fred Cressock and numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie was born in 1915 in the village of Eluwfki, Ukraine. In 1926, Eddie travelled to Plum Coulee and became a farm hand in Brunkild. While working on the Wroblewsky farm, Eddie managed to win Marthas heart. The two moved to Winnipeg to start a life together and Eddie began working as a moulder at Anthes Foundry. Eddie and Martha were blessed with two beautiful children, Judy and Jim, during their 58 years of marriage. Those who knew Eddie best described him as strong, kind and gentle. Eddie always seemed to listen more than he talked but no one missed the twinkle in his eye. Eddie was happiest when he was spending time with family and friends in Lee River. In his last three months, those around him were moved to see the beautiful bond he formed with his new great-grandson Jace. Eddies presence will be missed at the supper table, card table and bonfire. The family wishes to thank Corinne and Don for always being wonderfully helpful and supportive. Also, a thank you to the staff on East Gate Lodges Crocus Unit and the N.E.H.A. care workers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 14 at 4:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. "In our hearts, you are with us always."
