ROBERT S. "BOB" VOWELL July 3, 1938 - September 9, 2001 Bob Vowell of Lac du Bonnet, MB., succumbed to his injuries at the age of 63 years. Bob was predeceased by his father Sid. He is survived by his mother Kay; brother Dave (Sophie) sister Audrey (Tom). He will be sadly missed by his daughter Kathie (Phil) son Shawn (Patsy) and their mother Ardith, plus many friends. After his employment with Perimeter Air Lines, he made Lac du Bonnet his home, where he became an active member, in the Lac du Bonnet Legion. Bob had a real zest for the outdoors. His hobbies included black powder shooting, fishing, and he was an avid race car enthusiast. His most treasured times were at the lake with his children at Christmas. Special thanks to the staff at the Beausejour Hospital, also to Brenda and Mary for their special care. A celebration of Bobs life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2001 at the Lac du Bonnet Legion Hall, 45 McArthur Street. "Dad we know you are walking in heaven with grandpa. We will never forget you." In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society, or the Canadian Paraplegic Association.
