ROBERT (BOB) J. KELNICK, SR. On September 10, 2001 at age 69, Bob, predeceased by his beloved wife Eleanor in 1998, left his loving children, Rick, Wendy Oberemok (Jim), Lana Dufour (Tim) and Bob Jr. He was a precious grandfather to Melissa, Derek, Brittany and Brianne Dufour, Kristen Howlett and Tyler Kelnick-Eyolfson. His loyal companion Muffy was always by his side. Bob was also predeceased by his sister Zelma Hay and parents Paul and Elsie Kelunick. Left to mourn are brother Ernie (Joyce) and brother-in-law Doug Hay, as well as numerous relatives of the Hallick clan. Bob married Eleanor Hallick in 1952 and together they raised their four children. During a lengthy career with Pitney-Bowes, Bob and his family resided in Winnipeg, Regina, Windsor and Saskatoon. Many fond memories and friends were made at his cottage at Lovering Lake in Saskatchewan. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons.
