Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN MARJORIE FRYERS With great sadness we must announce the passing of our much loved sister, Marjorie, in the Lions Personal Care Home on Sunday, September 9, 2001. She had been ill and in their care for six years. Marjorie was born in Saskatoon in 1915 and had been predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Alfred and Melville. She is survived and lovingly remembered by two brothers, Walter of Edmonton and Clifford of Winnipeg, and by her sister-in-law Nan Fryers of Calgary, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Marjorie was a Registered Nurse graduating from the Winnipeg General Hospital in 1940. She was then employed by the Victorian Order of Nurses and went on to study Public Health at McGill University and some years later Columbia University where she obtained her Masters degree. Following this, she was employed by the City of Winnipeg and later by the Province of Manitoba as an area supervisor for Public Health in which position she completed her working years and retired in 1980. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. on Friday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Eleanor Geib officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a donation to the charity of your choice. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1858 Portage Avenue, 949-4872
