Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNE LAVACK (nee PERRIN) Peacefully, on Thursday, September 13, 2001, Jeanne Lavack, aged 83 years passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital after a short illness. She leaves to mourn her husband of 50 years, Jean; her children, Jacques (Lise) and Yvonne (Jean-Pierre) grandchildren, Joelle, Luc and Jocelyne Lavack; brother Louis; sisters Marie and Therese (Marcel Giroux) sisters-in-law, Emma Phaneuf, Estelle Perrin, Annette Delaquis, Marie-Jeanne (nee Goulet) brothers-in-law, George Lavack (Louise), Raynald Lavack (Beatrice), Aurele Blanchette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Philippe and Augustine (Magnan) brothers, Tobie, George, Lucien, Jean, Maurice, Germain; sisters, Yvonne, Alice, Raymonde and Annette. Jeanne was born on April 12, 1918 in Ste-Anne-des-Chenes, MB into a large and devout family. She had spent the last 26 years in Winnipeg. Her husband and family were her driving force and she easily showed her profound love and devotion. Her humor and energy overcame the hardships in her life. She actively lived her faith through simple acts of kindness and thoughtfulness towards family and friends. She had an exceptional talent for creating a gracious, warm and hospitable home. We are grateful for having been a part of her life. We believe she feels the extent of our love for her and our gratitude for the sacrifices she has made. We know she will continue to watch over us. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of 7A South of St. Boniface General Hospital for their compassionate care. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Eglise Precieux Sang on Tuesday, September 18. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. at Eglise Precieux Sang on Wednesday, September 19. Interment will follow in Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery. We suggest that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionaries of Charity, 167 Aikins St. Wpg. R2W 4G1.
