Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySISTER IRENE ST.JOSEPH (Lillian Beaulne) On Friday, September 14, 2001, at the Provincial House of "Les Filles de la Croix", sister Irene St. Joseph passed peacefully into eternal life after a brief illness but after many years of patiently living in a world of silence and darkness, having lost her hearing and eyesight. Sister was born 99 years ago in Plantagenet, Ontario to Joseph Beaulne and Nelly Yeon. They and her four sisters and one brother have predeceased her. She is mourned by her religious community, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was an esteemed teacher for many years in elementary schools throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. She also gave twenty years of her life as Mistress of Novices for the formation of young women entering religious life. She was able, during the early part of her retirement, to spend many happy hours doing things she loved such as a variety of crafts. She was artistically inclined and loved carving and listening to good music until her sight and hearing failed. From then on, she became part of the prayerful mission of all our elderly sisters. We shall miss her. The community of Les Filles de la Croix wishes to extend grateful and sincere thanks to our Sisters Residence and home care staff for the comforting and dedicated care our dear sister received. A celebration of life and prayer service will be held at the Provincial House of the Sisters, 66 Moore Ave. in St. Vital on Monday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m. Bishop Noel Delaquis will celebrate the funeral mass the following day, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Provincial House. Interment will take place in the St. Adolphe Parish Cemetery. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
