Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS MARGARET JANE DAUPHINAIS (nee McKAY) Peacefully on Saturday, September 15, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre, Gladys Margaret Jane Dauphinais (nee McKay) passed away at the age of 55 years. Gladys was born at Berens River on February 16, 1946, spending most of her life in Winnipeg. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Gladys was always ready to lend a helping hand to any person in need. At the time of her demise, Gladys was attending P.A.C.T. taking counselling, spending three weeks each month in Berens River with little children and they will miss her very much. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory two daughters, Geraldine (Barry), Candy (Garth) one son Randy; her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Ronnie, Gerren, Brianne, Brennan, Brent, Tara, Randall, Jessica, Stephanie, and Cassandra and the arrival of Gladys first great-grandchild; four brothers, Jack (Debbie), Archie, Jimmy (Darlene), Ernie (Tina) five sisters, Doreen, Hilda (Langford), Mary, Kathy, and Theresa; two aunts, Mrs. Virginia Boulanger and Emma Semple; her special friend Annie Tomchuk; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Tachereau, April 17, 1985 and Mildred November 3, 1989; two sons, Gregory November 8, 1988 and infant Andy; and brother Wilfred October 31, 1990. Wake service was held on Monday, September 17 and will also be held on Tuesday, September 18, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. ABORIGINAL FUNERAL CHAPEL 724 SELKIRK AVE. 586-7700
