ABRAHAM "ABE" DYCK 1928 - 2001 On Saturday, September 15, 2001, at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Abe Dyck, age 73 years, of Winkler, went to his eternal rest. Abe was a well known Imperial Oil agent for many years in Rosenfeld and Winkler. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Lena Dyck (nee Hildebrand) four daughters, Lorraine and Wade Kehler of Niverville and children, Samuel, Andrew, Zachery; Shirley and Darryl Peters of Botswana, Africa and children, Cyprian, Leah, Reyna; Janet and Ernie Neufeld of Winnipeg and children, Rachel, Lindsay; Wendy and Ken Friesen of Landmark and children, Allison, Joel; one son Ken and Elaine Dyck of Dauphin and children, Steven and wife Becky, Stewart; one great-granddaughter Kalee Dyck; five sisters, one brother, two sisters-in-law and their families. He was predeceased by grandson Caleb Kehler; one sister and two brothers. Viewing will be held Tuesday 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler (121 8th St.) and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 11:00 a.m., at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (Mountain and 6th) with Rev. John P. Klassen officiating.
