Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK JAMES WAYLETT Frederick James Waylett (retired Squadron Leader) passed away in Victoria on September 14, 2001. Fred was born on January 27, 1917 in Winnipeg, MB, son of Mary and Charles Waylett. Predeceased by sisters, Jessie and Nora; brothers, Robert and Chester. Survived by his loving wife Wendy Ida; daughters, Marsa (Edward) Galea, Kristin (Edward) Plater and beloved grandson, Adam Plater, all of Ottawa; his brother Herbert (Pat) of Summerland, and many nieces and nephews and friends. Fred served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 27 years, stationed at various places in Canada and the United States. Following his Air Force retirement in 1966, he spent 15 years at the Head Office of Manitoba Hydro. Funeral service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, Victoria, on Wednesday, September 19 at 11:00 am. with interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens.
