MARY FLETCHER Peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at the Grace Hospital, Mary Fletcher passed away at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil in 1984; her parents, Dmytro and Michelena Dilay and by her brothers, John, Nick and Walter. Mary is survived by her sons, Gordon (Karen), Barry (Elaine) and Bill (Doris) grandchildren, Christine, Douglas (Suzanne), Brent, Mark (Angelika), Leanne (Rory), Stephen and Alana; great-grandchildren, Breanne, Brooklyn, Deborah, Emily, Aidan, Jordan, Joshua, and Brennan; her sister Audrey Erickson, as well as many extended family members and friends. Mom was an active member in her church as her faith was very important to her. She was a caring person who enjoyed being a homemaker and tending to her garden. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warm smile and humourous stories will be missed. The family extends sincere thanks to the caregivers who looked after Mom. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave., at Harrow on Saturday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m., with Father Mark Jnutel officiating. Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy #1 East following the service. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Marys memory to a charity of ones choice. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
