ANNE MAY McINTYRE (nee HALL) Suddenly, attending to a grandchild, Anne McIntyre died. With sadness we grieve her passing September 18, 2001, at Yorkton, SK. She will really be missed by her children, Susan (Les) Lebo, Pat (Vince) Roberts, Jack (Janice) McIntyre and Don (Val) McIntyre; seven grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many relatives and very good friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Earl (1998) daughter Margaret Ruth (1967) parents, Mary Elma (Pierce) and Fred Hall; brothers, Fred, George (Pearl), and Jack (Margaret) Hall; and sisters, Beatrice Hall and Ruth (Dave) McMurtry. Born February 16, 1920 in Morden, Anne entered Brandon Normal School at 17, teaching in two country schoolhouses near Manitou and Woodnorth, before serving with the R.C.A.F. in London England during the Second World War. She married in 1945. In the next 53 years Anne and Earl farmed at Roblin, postmistress at Deepdale, organist, typist, and soul mate for three decades while ( Rev. Dr.) Earl McIntyre was clergy at Grandview, La Riviere, Elm Creek, Treherne, Preeceville, SK, Russell, and Pilot Mound. They retired to Morden where a warm welcome, baking, and dessert was always "on hand" for family and friends. Over the years Anne played piano for dances, church and countless community groups. Her children grieve the loss of a patient, generous Mom, who loved selflessly and supported family immeasurably.
