MARGARET SUTHERLAND June 25, 1921 - September 19, 2001 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our beloved and cherished mother and grandmother Margaret on Wednesday, September 19, 2001, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard, 1967 and son Leonard Jr., 1994. Margaret will be sadly missed, but greatly remembered by all her loved ones and friends as well as those who were touched by her kindness. Margaret will be forever cherished by daughters, Lynne (Robin) Milne, Marge, Patsy; sons, Glen, Terry, and Dennis (Gwen) sister Gert (Peter) Gutwein; sister-in-law Alice (Dave) Varis; brother-in-law Clifford Sutherland; as well as many nieces and nephews. She leaves many fond memories with grandchildren, Kerri Lynn Milne of Winnipeg, Ian and Jeanine Sutherland of Lethbridge. Margaret was known for her gentle, loving, caring manner and made friends easily. Margaret enjoyed many years winning at bingo and in her later years, league bowling. She also enjoyed being a Big Sister to Linda and as a volunteer with the Age & Opportunity Centres at 400 Stradbrook and Smith Street. She will be missed by her many friends and staff at 400 Stradbrook and Amber Meadows. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Monday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing one-half hour prior. The family would like to thank Dr. Bereznay as well as Dr. Bhanot and the staff of Unit 5, 5th floor of Seven Oaks Hospital, for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as well as the Diabetes Foundation. You will always be in our hearts and souls.
