H. E. (HARRY) DAVIDSON Peacefully, on Monday, September 17, 2001 at Grace Hospital, Harry Davidson passed away at the age of 77 years. Harry will always be remembered by wife Audrey; children, Sheila Davidson (Keith Enns) and their son Gavin Enns, Jim (Barbara) and their children, Tammy Roos (Dwayne), Stephen and Kenneth, Al (Cindy), Jan Henderson (John) great-grandchildren, Keri and Kathleen Roos; sister Lil Bailey (Gordon) as well as other family members. Harry fought with the Lord Strathconas Horse in northern Africa and Italy. He spent the years following the war, and until his death, as a member of the War Amputations of Canada which included extensive work with the Child Amputee Program (CHAMP). Harry was employed in the printing business by Bulman Bros. and Canadian Publishers for over 40 years. During retirement, he could be found in his garden in Lac du Bonnet or playing pool in Arizona. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Army and Navy, Unit 283, 3584 Portage Ave. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Harrys memory may be made to the War Amps CHAMP Program, 2827 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1V 0C4. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of the Observation Unit and 4 South Wards of Grace Hospital. A special thank you to Terry and Ren Lapp for their friendship and support.
