ANNA ROSKOS Peacefully, on Thursday, September 20, 2001, Anna, widow of the late John Roskos, passed away in the Bethania Personal Care Home at the age of 97 years. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Anne Monroe (Walter) of Bakersfield, CA, John Roskos (Vicki) of Dufresne, MB, Ruby Johnson (Charles) of Rochester, MN, Fanny Kobewka (Peter) of Winnipeg and Lydia Brown (Ray - deceased) of Rogers, AR; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. John and Anna purchased their farm in the Rosewood area in 1929 and continued to farm there until 1963 when they retired to make their home in Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. Friends may pay their respects between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annas memory may be made to the Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2K 3S7.
