GRACE McAULEY

GRACE McAULEY (nee LEE) At the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, on Monday, September 10, 2001, aged 85 years. Grace was born on August 27, 1916. She married Fred E. McAuley on November 2, 1940. They farmed until 1971 when they moved into McAuley. Grace moved to The Sherwood at Virden in April of this year. Grace is survived by her son Richard (Linda) of McAuley, their two daughters, Erin Wilson (Boyd), and great-grandson Cody of Rocanville, Angie Webb (Jason) of Calgary; her daughter Marlene Barnfather (Cam), their children, Alison and Jay, of Edmonton; her daughter Gwen Jamieson (Peter Sarmatiuk) of Winnipeg and her two sons, Monty of Toronto and Mike of Vancouver; three brothers; two sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The funeral service was held Friday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Carscadden Funeral Chapel in Moosomin, Rev. Mike Williams officiated. Interment followed in McAuley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MBR3B 2H8.
