HILDEGARD GERTRUDE JAHNKE Peacefully, in her 82nd year, Hilde Jahnke passed away at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, MB. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Gerhard Jahnke in 1985; her daughter Gerhild Krampitz in 1987 and by her brother Willi in Germany. She is survived by her companion and best friend Siegfried Wendorff; son Wolfgang Jahnke and his wife Erika; daughter Silvia Marchall and her husband Adolf; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many friends. There will be a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25 in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. There will be a private family interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
