IRENE CAROLINE ALLAN On Wednesday September 19, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Irene Caroline Allan passed away. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Robert Beacom in 1963 and Emily Beacom in 1987, and her husband Alexander Allan in 1977. She is survived by brother Chester Robert Beacom and wife Laureen; niece Sharon (Tim) Hannah and children, Kevan and Kelsey; nephew Shane Beacom (Dorothy) and children, Colleen and Christine; sister-in-law Annie Davidson; cousins and special friends Marlene and Alan Thorlakson, Vernon, BC, Ron and Joan Anstey, Dale Anstey of Saskatoon, SK, Karen and Don Filteau and Nicole, Janelle, Trevor of Moose Jaw, SK. Irene worked at Eatons in the ribbon and laces department for 37 years until her retirement in 1984. She was a past Noble Grand of the Olive Branch Historic Rebekah Lodge No. 1 and member of El-Hagar Zuanna No. 132, member of the Eatons retirement club, member of Eatons Retirement bowling and Polo Park bowling, and enjoyed helping on the lunch committee and taking different bus trips. She loved taking world wide trips with her friend Rose Troughton and enjoyed working in her garden among her flowers. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 24 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
