JEANNE MATHURINE RUSYWICH (nee PHILIPPE) Peacefully at the St. Claude Hospital on Thursday, September 20, 2001, Mrs. Jeanne Rusywich of St. Claude, MB, passed away at the age of 86 years. Jeanne was born on November 22, 1914 at St. Claude, MB. In 1938 she married Philip and they lived and farmed all their life in St. Claude. Mom was a very caring person who always put peoples needs and feelings ahead of her own. She enjoyed her garden and flowers and had a great love for nature and animals. She always looked forward to visits and card games with her family and friends. Jeanne and Phil enjoyed many years of travelling, especially to Mesa, Arizona where they had many friends. She leaves to mourn her passing, three children, Norman Rusywich of St. Claude, Lillian and husband Bob Ralke of West St. Paul, MB, and Evelyn Boode of Winnipeg; 3 grandchildren, Dana (Evan Page), Ryan Ralke (fiancee Sherry), and Tania Steele-Boode; and 3 great-grandchildren, Taryn and Jade Page and Derek Steele. She also leaves to mourn 2 brothers, Robert (Marie) Philippe, Marcel (Henriette) Philippe; one sister Isabelle Roch; sisters-in-law, Therese Philippe, Henriette Philippe and Rose Guigueno and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Philip on September 27, 2000; her father Joseph Xavier and her mother Marguerite (nee Le Hegarat) two brothers, Xavier and Ferdinand; and by one infant sister Rose. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 25, at 2:00 p.m. with Father Rodrigue Bouchard officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
