Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE H. BOURGET Grandpa passed away peacefully with his family present on Friday, September 21, 2001. Predeceased by his parents, one sister and three brothers, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doreen and his three children, Phillip, Marian Lewis (Raymond) and Monique Tooth (Glenn). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Active in the community he was involved in charitable works in Notre Dame Parish, Selkirk and St. Vital Parish, Winnipeg. A life time member of the K of C, he held several offices. He enjoyed many past times and was an avid golfer. The most treasured possession was his family and he welcomed everyone. Prayers to be held at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, Tuesday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Notre Dame Church, 269 Jemima St., Selkirk, Wednesday, September 26 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow, private interment. Pallbearers will be Raymond Lewis, Mitchell Lewis, Reginald Nichols, Carson Stefanson, Murray Nichols, Shannon Karpenko. The family wishes to thank Dr. H. Demsas, the staff of the Selkirk Crisis Centre, the nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Selkirk General District Hospital and the paramedics for their devotion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
