JULIETTE (JULIE) CHARTIER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juliette (Julie) Chartier, on September 22, 2001, at the age of 43 years. Julie was born on August 7, 1958 and lived in Aubigny, MB till she moved to Winnipeg. In 1978, Julie began her exciting career as a Loss Prevention Officer, with Gambles. She then worked for Zellers and then Eatons till its close in 1999. She then worked part-time as a Security Officer for Red River Community College and as a Customer Service Representative with Manitoba Public Insurance. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her artistic flair, and her acts of kindness and generosity. She was predeceased by her father, Emilien, in 1993, mother, Emerence (nee Ouimet), in 1998, brother, Norbert in 1953, and brother Michel in 1972. She is survived by five sisters, Leonne (Luis Alonso) of Spain, Aurore, Denise, Nicole, and Colette (Donald Taylor), all of Winnipeg; four brothers, Norbert, Antoine (Terra Lynn Corrigan), all of Aubigny; David (Pauline St-Vincent), and Gerald, all of Winnipeg; three nieces and four nephews, Irene, Alvaro, Raoul of Spain, Rebecca, Kerina, Eric, Danica, and Colin. In accordance with Julies wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 26 at 10:30 a.m., at the Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny St., Winnipeg, Fr. Marcel Chaput officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will take place later that afternoon at the Aubigny Parish Cemetery. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit, at St. Boniface General Hospital, for their care and kindness. Special thanks to family and friends who gave us the courage and strength to carry on.
