Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN C. GIESBRECHT John C. Giesbrecht, aged 84 years of Altona, MB, passed away at Eastview Place in Altona on September 21, 2001. John is survived by his loving wife Anne; eight children, Susan (Ken) Popkes, Rendal (Merrille) Giesbrecht, Elmer (Marielle) Giesbrecht, Hannah Giesbrecht (Bernie Hardman), Leonard (Carol) Giesbrecht, Melvin (Chris) Giesbrecht, Stella (Warren) Stoesz, Lenora Giesbrecht; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Johns life will be held on Tuesday, September 25 from the E.M.M. Church in Altona, with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona on Sunday, September 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. In memory of John C. Giesbrecht, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona 204-324-5404, in care of arrangements.
