Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE KUSHNIR February 24, 1921 - September 24, 2001 It is with deepest sadness that the family announces the passing of Rose Kushnir on Monday, September 24, 2001 at the Kildonan Personal Care Home. Rose will be lovingly remembered by Harry, her husband of 61 years, her daughters, Irene and husband Gary Fridfinnson, and Edna and her husband Jerry Sopiwnyk; grandchildren, Randy Fridfinnson, Melody Fridfinnson and fiance Richard Brisebois, Cayna-Lee and husband Chris Yarema. Rose is also survived by her brothers, Mike (Margaret) Krochenski, Ludwig (Sophie) Krochenski, Leon (Ann) Krochenski; sisters, Mildred (Stanley) Wasylowski, Jean (Walter) Kohut; sister-in-law Bertha Krochenski as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Barbara Krochenski and one brother Ben. Rose was born and raised in Fraserwood, MB. On November 1, 1939, Harry and Rose were married and later moved to Silver, MB and then to Winnipeg in 1956. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she used her many talents such as sewing, cooking, baking and crafting to show her love, warmth and affection to all, especially her grandchildren. As an active witness of Jehovah God since 1945, Rose eagerly looked forward to the coming paradise under Gods Kingdom where sickness and death will be no more (Rev. 21:3-4). She also took great comfort in the resurrection hope as promised in the Bible, sharing her faith with others at every opportunity. The family would like to thank those who took the time to visit Mom, as well as the staff of Kildonan Personal Care Home for the loving care provided by them. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Mr. John Vincent officiating.
