ANNE MISIURA (nee WELYHORSKY) Anne Misiura, passed away peacefully, at the age of 97 years, on Monday, September 24, 2001, at the Park Manor Personal Care Home. Anne was predeceased by her husband Roman, daughter Olga, son-in-law John (Pelland) and brother Yaroslaw (Jerry). She leaves to mourn her grandson Les Pelland (Rose, Matt & T.K.). Anne came to Canada in the summer of 1927, a year after Roman. They were married in the fall of that same year, and resided in Transcona the rest of their lives. "Baba" was always cooking and working in her garden, but her family was her pride and joy. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with Father Michael Krochak officiating. Interment to follow in the Transcona Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff at Park Manor for the loving care "Baba" received over the past years. "Your suffering is over Baba."
