LILLIE SHERWOOD Lillie Sherwood passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2001 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Harry and Robert, she is survived by her sister Shirley, nephew Albert (Pat), niece Rose Marie (Allan) and families as well as many friends. Lillie was born and raised in Winnipeg, growing up in the north end of the city. She retired from Southam Building Reports after over 25 years of service. She belonged to various senior groups and especially enjoyed MSOS trips as well as a trip to Churchill when she flew for the first time. Lillie loved bowling, participating in Lawn Bowling and later Five Pin Bowling at Dakota Lanes, winning many trophies. She also enjoyed watching sports and knitting and crocheting. She attended Regents Park United Church for many years. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff in Emergency and A5 Ward in St. Boniface Hospital, also thank you to home care workers for their wonderful care and kindness to Lillie. A memorial service will be held at Regents Park United Church, 613 St. Marys Rd. on Thursday, September 27 at 3:00 p.m., with Dr. Paul Campbell and Rev. Juanita Smith officiating.
