FRANK ZBOROWSKI Peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2001 at the Portage District General Hospital, Portage la Prairie, Frank Zborowski passed away at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by his wife, Gladys (formerly Kowerchuk) parents, Adam and Mary; his brothers, infant Tony, Joe and Stanley. He leaves behind his brother Walter (Dora) Zborowski of Neepawa, cousins, members of Gladys family and some close friends. Frank was born January 28, 1919 in McCreary, MB. As he grew up he spent his early years farming. Frank entered the service in The Second World War serving in Europe. In later years he became an effective salesperson for Watkins, Amway and other companies. He was a quiet, humble man who would enthusiastically share herbal remedies and effectiveness of vitamins. He was also a caring man who along with his wife and then later by himself, made a home and cared for Eddie for 25 years. Franks confidence and hope in the Bible began as early as 1953. Shortly before his health failed, he had been attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall. Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., September 26, from McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie. Memorial service will be held Thursday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, with Tom Szyjak officiating. Interment will take place at a later time at Sunville Cemetery, Glenella, MB. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Franks memory to charity of choice. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Frank by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements, 857-4021.
