THERESE R. FOREST (nee DEMERS) December 15, 1931 - September 25, 2001 Peacefully, with her family by her side, Therese "Terry" Forest passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital in Ste. Anne, MB after a brief but courageous battle with her illness at the age of 69 years. Therese was predeceased by her parents, Francois and Marie-Louise; sisters, Lucille, Irene, Alice and Jeanne and by her sister Marie-Yvette and her brother Edouard in infancy. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Basile; son Gilbert (Irene) daughter Colette (Michel) her four precious granddaughters, Lisa, Danielle, Jennifer and Ashley. She is also survived by her sisters, Cecile, Flo, Lea and their respective families; as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Thereses family wishes to thank Dr. Nadine Chatel and the excellent nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Ste. Anne Hospital for their devotion and care. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Joseph Choiselat at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, MB on Friday, September 28 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thereses memory to the Ste. Anne Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Centre Medical Seine, 100 - 142 rue centrale, Sainte-Anne (Manitoba) R5H 1C3.
