CAPTAIN WILLIAM (BILL) MUIRHEAD (RCAF RETD) Peacefully and with quiet dignity Bill passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Thursday, September 27, 2001. Survived by Mae, his wife of 53 years, his seven children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson and his sister Dutchie. He has only gone on a little ahead To fashion a home for me. There will be curtains blowing And books as there used to be. Pictures, a desk and tables fair Where friends shall love to come... He has only gone on as a father would To find us a new home. He has only gone on a little ahead To find us the loveliest place There will be golden roses there A bloom in an azure space Poppies, pansies and daffodils And moss we shall love to tread O father! Now it is clear to me Youve only gone on ahead.
