Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ALEXANDER WYNNE Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 26, 2001, John Wynne passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. John was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Martha Wynne; and brothers, Charlie and Cummie. John is survived by son Wesley (Lenore) and grandson William; sisters, Mary, Nettie, and Annie; brothers, Dick and Hughie, and their families, and special friend John Kohut. He was born at the homestead at Manigotogan, MB, January 1, 1920. John lived an active life. He worked as a prospector, miner, trapper and lumberjack. He served with the PPCLI during the Second World War. Manigotogan, Bissett, B.C. and Winnipeg were home to him. Special thanks to the staff at CPL, where John resided prior to his passing. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. William A. Panting officiating. West Kildonan Legion Color Guard will be present. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
