JOSEPHINE JOYCE KELLER (nee GATTO) On Sunday, September 23, 2001 at the Victoria General Hospital, Joyce, beloved wife of Laverne Keller, passed away at the age of 79. Josie, as she was known to all, was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. For a time she was employed by a fur company and later with the Dunlop Tire and Rubber Company. She was a member of the Fort Rouge Leisure Center and also an active bowler. Josie and her husband traveled extensively throughout North America. They both had a special fondness for Alaska. Besides her husband of 53 years, Laverne, she is survived by her sister Grace Sleeman, and many nieces and nephews. Josie was predeceased by her brother Gus in 1918, her mother Francis in 1975, her sister Sarah Arbuckle In 2000, and her brother Joe in 2001. The family would like to thank the staff on the 5th floor at Victoria Hospital for their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In fulfilling Joyces wishes, no service will be held. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Flowers gratefully declined. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
