PEARL HIE Peacefully on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at the Central Park Lodge, Pearl Hie passed away at the age of 91. Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Boomhower; brothers, Bert, Mac, Jim and Bob and sisters, Ruby, Winnie and Marj. She is survived by her daughters, Fay OGrady (Bernie) of BC, Louise Bilous of BC and Marj Hie of Winnipeg; son Gordon Hie (Blanche) of BC; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Myrtle Moline of Dryden; numerous nieces and nephews. Pearl was a volunteer and board member of Central Community Centre from 1974 until today. She enjoyed spending several nights a week at the centre Bingo hall and keeping up to date with her grandchildren by letters, cards and phone calls. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Monday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m., with viewing one hour prior, Conrad Isaac officiating. Interment Garden of the Old Rugged Cross, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
