PHYLLIS GEORGINA MORRISON (nee FOLLOWELL) "A Great Woman Has Left Us" With great sadness we announce the passing on September 28, 2001 of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Gram, Phyllis Georgina Morrison, age 79 years. Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband George Henry Morrison who died on December 29, 1994 at the age of 76 years whom she missed and now they are together. Phyllis will lovingly and always be remembered by daughter Maureen (Ron) Grantham; granddaughter Lisa Delveaux (Shawn Thorvaldson) and two beautiful great-grandsons, Jesse (5) and Austin (2). Phyllis will also be remembered by special friends Doris Morrison and Elsie and Danny Nicholson and many other relatives and friends. Phyllis was the most kind hearted and thoughtful person. She was the best Mom anyone could have. Phyllis loved life. She loved to dance, sing and get together with friends. Phyllis enjoyed travelling with her husband George; trips to Wales U.K. and British Columbia visiting relatives and friends. Phyllis always had a great time when we went to visit the Granthams at the farm. Special Poem From Jesse and Austin "Walk With Gram" I like to walk with Gram, her steps are slow like mine. She never says, "Now hurry up" she always takes her time. We like to walk with Gram, her eyes see things like mine do. Wee pebble bright, a funny cloud, half hidden drops of dew. Most people have to hurry, they do not stop and see. Im glad that God made Gram, Unrushed and young like me. Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, October 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. A private interment will be held at a later date in St. Vital Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to staff at the Tache Day Care and the Tache Nursing Centre.
