EMILIEN COTE Peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2001, at the Villa Youville Nursing Home, Emilien Cote passed away at the age of 91 years. He leaves to mourn his children, Yolande Lambert (Noel), Jules (Liliane) daughter-in-law Raymonde Cote; his grandchildren, Michele (Ray), Daniel, Chantal, Julie, Ronald, Joanne, Lisa and Christopher. He also leaves one sister Sr. Anesie Cote, M.O.; sisters-in-law, Bernadette Cote, Antonia Hupe, Marie St. Laurent; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife Marie-Reine (nee St. Laurent), son Louis, grandson Paul (in infancy), five brothers and six sisters. Born in 1910 in Ste. Anne-des-Chenes, MB, he spent his life working on the family farm until his retirement in 1977. He was a kind and gentle man and will be missed. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Villa Youville for their kindness and compassion. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing prior to the mass at 1:30 p.m. in the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery.
