VERONICA DENNING Our mother Veronica Audrey Denning passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on Monday, October 1, 2001. She left this world to start a new journey with God holding her daughters hand. She will be dearly missed but her children know she will always be with them. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Wilkinson; her brothers, Ernie, Winston and Billy Wilkinson; sisters, Susan Campbell, Irene Lewis and Jeanine Hazelton. Veronica will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon, Stephen (Gail), Dave (Rhonda) and Karen Gutknecht (Bill) grandchildren, Beth Braccio and James Tyler; brother Cliff (Joan) sisters, Adele (Kevin) McCaron and Kay (Dave) Brazier. Mom spent her life helping her children with their careers as well as being everyone elses mom. Mom enjoyed her last ten years of employment with her friends at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club and in her spare time knitted her sweaters that many can treasure for years to come. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Haligowski, Dr. Lotocki, Dr. Krepart, Dr. Heywood and their nurse Irene. Special thanks to the nurses and Health Care Providers on the 5th Floor Units 3 and 6 as well as Joanne, Colleen, and Rachel that helped at the end. Prayers and service were held at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment will be held in The Garden of Prayer, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Veronicas memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in lieu of flowers.
