RONALD GORDY McKINNEY "Ka Bycicobid" June 18, 1968 - September 28, 2001 Ron leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his wife, Nancy, sons, Ron Jr., Terry, Cody, and Nicholas; daughters, Jeannine and Allison; father Roy (Joyce) McKinney; mother Sylvia (James) Chartrand; Parental grandmother, Eliza; brothers, Don (Mavis), Marvin, Ryan, and Sean; sisters, Heather, Angie (Brian), Joanne, Cheyenne, and Maureen, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Emma Martin, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and relatives. Ron was predeceased by his grandfather, William and uncles, William, Tony, Fred and Bob. Ron was born in Swan Lake, MB on June 18, 1968 to Roy McKinney and Sylvia Genaille. Ron loved all his family and enjoyed hockey, baseball, pow-wow singing and visiting with friends and relatives. He had a warm sense of humour and enjoyed laughter with his many friends and relatives. Though his smile is gone forever and his hand we cannot touch, still we have so many memories of the one we loved so much. His memory is our keepsake, from which well never part. God has him in his keeping, we have him in our hearts. Traditional Wake will be held on October 2 at Swan Lake First Nation Community Hall in Swan Lake. Funeral Service will be held on October 3 at Swan Lake First Nation Community Hall in Swan Lake. Interment will be in Indian Springs Cemetery. Elder Phillip Longclaws will be officiating. The McKinney and Martin families thank and acknowledge all those who have shown their kindness in helping "Ka Bycicobid" on his journey to the Spirit World.
