HELEN LENA CAPEK Peacefully on October 2, 2001 Helen Lena Capek entered into eternal rest. She was born on December 14, 1927. She was predeceased by her parents, Philip in 1932 and Sophie 1979. One sister, Jean in 1984 and her husband Bill in 1997. One brother Paul in 1996 and his wife Anne in 1992. She is survived by three nieces, Ruth (John) Koraluk, Marlene (Eddie) Trylinski and Grace (Ben) Friesen and all of their families. Helen was a private person enjoying her family and friends in a seniors complex in Winnipeg for the past 18 years. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Loewen Funeral Home in Steinbach and interment to follow at the St. Micheals Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Sarto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
