Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Marcelle Caron, Rolande and Denise Piche; and brother Paul and wife Lorraine. Also sisters-in-law, Beatrice, Helen and Gisele Piche and Blanche Mollot; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gil will be specially missed by her stepdaughter Deanne Morse; grandsons, Bob (Allison), Mark (Tracy), Grant (Barbara) great-grandchildren, Whitney, Lauren, Lexi, Tyler, Jan and Jillian. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Barney Mollot; her parents, Charles and Marie-Louise; her brothers, Roger Bruno, Gaston, Jules, Lionel; sister Gertrude; and nieces, Diane Seidel and Yvonne Savoie; nephews, Lorrain Arnal and Butch Caron; brothers-in-law, Denis Caron, Archie, John, Louis Mollot, and Joseph Arnal; son-in-law Joe Morse. Jill was born on December 5, 1917, in Fannystelle, MB, where she lived until she married Barney in 1944. They were partners and worked side by side for many years in their business in Brandon. In 1967 they bought their home in California and enjoyed many happy winters entertaining their many friends and relatives. The doors were always open at their home to all and Jill could always put another plate on her table. She was a soulmate to Deanne, a fun-loving Grandma, a Memere who gave lots of hugs and kisses, and a very devoted sister, aunt and friend to many. We would like to thank the excellent staff at Grace General Hospital who cared for her with so much compassion. May thanks also to the many, many relatives and friends who visited her every day. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5 at Sacred Heart Church in Fannystelle at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Frs. Armand Le Gal, O.M.I. and Lionel Dumont, O.M.I. officiating. A private interment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gils memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6, or to a charity of your choice.
