LINA GALMAN CAPIRAL In the early morning hours of October 3, 2001, Lina Galman Capiral completed her journey of life, after a lengthy illness. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lina is survived by Serie her loving husband of 19 years, daughter Cherilyn (Mike), granddaughter Alayah, and son Daryl. Lina worked at Knit-Rite Mills for 20 years, and most recently was employed at Tundra (Standard Knitting). She will be missed by many friends, coworkers, and extended family. Lina also leaves behind many siblings, nieces and nephews; sister, Puring (Carding) Cruz, Carina, Carol, and Alberto (Melanie), Tiara, Geness; sister Met (Rudy) Bautista, Rodell (Jennifer) Khaeler, Mileena, Alyssa, Jeanette, Gina; brother, Cornelio (Leonie) Galman, Neil (Rogelyn) Brendan, Edward, and Leslie; sister Julie (Chito) Bella, Joyce, Jacqueline (Ray) Jordan, and Charles; brother-in-law Albert (Dely) sisters-in-law, Auring, and Marina. mother-in-law Remy Capiral, and brothers and sisters in the Philippines, Antero, Poicarpio and Leonila. She is predeceased by her mother Maria Concepicion Galman, father Mariamo Galman, father-in-law, Jesus Capiral, brother Macario Galman and nephew Arnold Galman. A strong and quiet woman, her beauty was only surpassed by her strength of will and joy of life. She touched the hearts of everyone who crossed her path. Her love of life and devotion to her family were the fuel of her existence. Lamay will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and 7, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin Street, with Msgr. Maurice Comeault. Interment to follow in the Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. Leatherdale Gardiner 232 Kennedy Street 949-4878
