Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE ELIASHEVICH (nee HALAK) Peacefully on October 3, 2001 at the Park Manor Personal Care Home, Katherine Eliashevich, our beloved aunt and great-aunt, passed away at age 94 years. Katherine was born May 28, 1907 in Ukraine (Nemstev) and came to Canada in 1924. She married William Eliashevich on September 7, 1933 and they lived most of their life in St. Boniface. She was predeceased by her husband William, November 1963; her parents, Sam and Katherine Halak; brothers, Michael, Dan and Bill; sister Mary and brother-in-law Nick Pyrch. Katherine will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Park Manor Personal Care Home for their kindness and compassion. Prayers were held last evening, Thursday, October 4 at 8:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral rites will be conducted by Fr. Bill Wasyliw on Friday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Church, 1500 Day St. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Vichnaya PamYat Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
