Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARISSA GRACE HALLETT Passed away September 30, 2001, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Clara was born in North Dakota, USA, to Charles and Mina Oakes. They moved to Canada when Clara was very young. She lived most of her life on the farm, in the Fisher Branch and Fisherton areas. She attended Maidstone School. Clara made very many friends, young and old. Clara loved to travel, play bingo, go dancing and attend baby showers. She will be sadly missed by one and all. She leaves to mourn her passing; her brother, Roy (Jean) Oakes; sisters-in-law, Mary Oakes, Sylvia, Doris and Mary Hallett; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her family, Walter, Harvey, Ronald and Laurence (Betty), all of Fisher Branch; Donald and Brenda, Jerry and Jean of Peguis; Ken and Heather of Winnipeg; Bernice and Norman Beauchamp of Broad Valley; Memie Hallett and Betty Thompson. Her loving daughter Marilyn and husband Blaine Webb, who took her in and cared for her until her demise. Florence and Archie Billings of Wawanesa, Jack and Diane of Carrot River, SK, Beatrice and Ernie of West St. Paul. She is predeceased by husband, John, children, Charlie, Irma, Jean, sons-in-law Jack Rosche and Reggie Thompson. Funeral service will be held on Friday October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian National Hall, Fisher Branch, MB, with burial to follow at Fisherton Cemetery, Rev. Wesley Barrett will be officiating. Special Thank You goes out to Dr. Benny Lei, Marietta, emergency staff and nurses, on the 5th floor, and also to Amy Townsend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
