Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMA D. TURRIFF On October 2, 2001 Norma made her final journey out of this world of pain to a world of light and joy. Norma was born in Rapid City, MB on October 9, 1908. In 1913 she moved, along with her parents, to Transcona, residing in the same house on Harvard Avenue until 1989 when she moved to St. Michaels Seniors Apartments. After attending school in Transcona and then taking a business course in Winnipeg Norma worked in the Stores Department of the C.N.R. from 1928 until 1973. She was described as a very diligent worker and dedicated employee. In her later years she was a resident of The Middlechurch Home where she was admired and loved by all who came in contact with her. She was a "LADY" right to the end. She was predeceased by her brothers, Stanley of Transcona and Lorne of Vancouver. She is survived by her sister Erma and brother-in-law Bob Ste. Marie of Transcona; sisters-in-law, Marg of Transcona and Hilda of Vancouver. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews both of Winnipeg and Vancouver. She will be sorely missed by all, especially her niece Lorna and family. Thanks to the staff of Middlechurch Home especially those on A2 D2 for their kindness and loving care. You are all very special. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9 at The Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, 280 Balderstone Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Middlechurch Home Foundation, 280 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul, MB R4A 4A6. We love you Norma
