NAPOLEON (PAUL) SAVARD February 24, 1921 - October 3, 2001 At the age of 80 years, at the Centre Tache, Napoleon (Paul) Savard peacefully passed away surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Madeleine; his two sons, Bertrand (Marianne) and Claude (Kathy) his daughter, Yvette (Ed) and his grandchildren, Danielle, Luke, Joelle and Julie. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (Juliette) sisters-in-law, Simone Langelier of Saskatchewan, Denise Savard of St. Boniface, Bernadette Savard of Ste-Anne, Lucille Savard of Hamilton, ON as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. "Papa, votre joie de vivre, votre generosite et votre amour pour nous ne seront jamais oublies..." "Papa, your joie de vivre, your constant generosity and the love you had for us will never be forgotten..." Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 11 at Precieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny St. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. A private family interment of the cremated remains will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tache Centre, 185 Despins St., Winnipeg, MB R3H 2B3 or to the Wheelchair Access Project at Precieux-Sang Parish.
