Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I was reminiscing the past earlier this evening and listening to Cat Steven's music on Youtube and it opened doors and I suddenly remembered Lorraine's love of George Harrison. I have not seen her since late 1969 in Winnipeg and only met her in 1969 when I moved back to Winnipeg from Vancouver. I left Winnipeg for Toronto late 1970, and never kept contact. I decided to Google Winnipeg death notices about her parents (her dad was in charge of the printing plant where I worked; Inter-Collegiate Press) to see if she is the Lorraine I knew (graphic artist). She was a very spiritual and lovely person; whom I only knew for a short while, but who obviously left an impression on me. I do not know who the 'Mercer' connection is or was. How sad is that? There is no-one to ask. - Posted by: Sandra Dick (An old acquaintance) on: Jan 22, 2019
