JOAN IRIS OTT (nee DEWAR) Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 3, 2001, surrounded by her family, Joan Iris Ott passed away. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband Ernie and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy (Maryke), Jackie (Dennis), Rick, Tracey (Don) her many special grandchildren and great-grandchild; her "favourite" sister Betty (Andy) brother-in-law Albert; sister-in-law Will; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Joans strong faith and love for God was evident for all to see. She devoted her entire lifetime to her family. Her loving and generous nature touched many lives. She had many talents and a wide variety of interest. The family would like to thank the excellent staff at Grace General Hospital and Tuxedo Villa as well as Dr. Borrett who cared for her with so much compassion. A celebration of Joans life will take place on Tuesday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joans memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1K2 or to a charity of your choice.
