GLENNA RUTH (SARGENT) LOVEJOY, RN Mrs. Glenna Lovejoy, born December 21, 1928, passed away, peacefully, after a two and one half year courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, October 3, 2001. Glenna leaves to cherish her memory her husband Russell; son Stephen; and daughter-in-law Ruth, of Cobble Hill, B.C.; and one sister Joyce Purdy and brother-in-law Gerry, of Sandy Hook, MB and Rio Verde, AZ. Glenna was born in Winnipeg, MB and it was here she received her education. Following her graduation from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate in 1948, she went on to become a Registered Nurse, graduating from the Winnipeg General Hospital in 1951. Russell and Glenna were married on October 4, 1952, and together they made their home in Winnipeg. In 1962, they moved to Dawson Creek, B.C., returning to Winnipeg in 1968. After residing in Beausejour, MB for 11 years and Morden, MB for six years, they moved to Medicine Hat in 1995 to enjoy their retirement years. At Glennas request, a private family time of remembrance will be held.
