(DORIS) DOROTHY (FRANKOSKI) CHRISTIANSEN Peacefully on August 8, 2001 at Forest Grove Nursing Home in Calgary, Nanny passed away at the age of 80. Honouring our mothers wish, no funeral took place in Calgary. Her ashes are being returned to Winnipeg for interment alongside Louie, our father, her husband, who predeceased her on February 11, 1996. A family graveside service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on October 6 at 3:00 p.m. Mom will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren, Hugh (Rose) and children, Chris (Randy), Kim (Shawn), Darryl, and James; Shirley (Larry) and children, Michael (Laurie), Shawn (Terry), Angela (Danny), Troy, and Michelle; Eleanor (Mel) and children, JoAnne (Brian), Kelly (Dave), and Colette; Joyce (Brian) and children, Trevor (Deana), Andrea (Jason), and Aaron. Also 15 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Nanny was born in Elma, MB. She married Louie July 6, 1940. Nannys and Papas door was always open to all. Nanny has gone from this world, to be with Papa, but they both live always in our hearts. God Bless you both. Love always from your family.
