BERTRAM "GLEN" BESTECK January 13, 1943 - October 9, 2001 It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our son and father Bertram Glen Besteck, on October 9, 2001, at Victoria Hospital. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Teresa, Cheryl, Crystal and Jessica; his parents Bert and Lillian; his brother Wayne (Linda) his sister Susan (Ray) his grandson Eric; and numerous nieces and nephews. Glen was employed by the City of Winnipeg, Brady Road Landfill Department for 20 years and was an active member of the C.U.P.E. union, making a lasting impression on all who met him. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Memorial service will be Monday, October 15, 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a gathering of family and friends in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. If friends so desire, donations in Glens memory may be made to Besteck Family Trust Fund, in care of Cambrian Credit Union, 2136 McPhillips St., or Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3.
