Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLARD KIRKWOOD WEBSTER "WEB" It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Willard K. Webster, beloved husband, father, grand-father and great-grandfather on October 6, 2001 at the age of 87 years. " Web" was born in Winnipeg on August 20, 1914, and grew up in Deloraine, MB. He was a flight instructor with the RCAF during the Second World War after which, he received his degree in Forestry Engineering at the University of New Brunswick before returning to Manitoba where he worked with the Manitoba Government until he retired from his position of Assistant Deputy Minister of Mines and Natural Resources in 1977. Throughout his life, Web was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and passionate outdoorsman, as well as volunteering his time to help coach community club hockey. His happiest times were spent with family and friends at the cottage at Moose Lake. Web will be lovingly remembered by Marguerite, his wife of 58 years; his children, Sandra (Chase), and Ross (Krystyna) grand-children, Brittany, Sarah, Chuck, Danny, Marrie, David, Jenny, Lane; and four great-grandchildren; also surviving sisters, Evelyn and Eunice; brothers, Bill, Garth and Stewart; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two daughters Anne and Kathleen; his granddaughter Dede; and his brother Fred. Grandpas great stories and keen sense of humour will be sadly missed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy., with Rev. Dr. Patrick A Morand Presiding. Interment will be held at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., immediately following the reception.
