NORMAN ERSKINE It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Norman Erskine, on Friday, October 5, 2001 at the Grace Hospital. Norman will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan; children, Elizabeth, Barbara, James and his wife Valerie and grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew. He is also survived by sisters June Lenehan and Joyce Burt and brothers, Douglas and Kenneth Erskine. Upon graduating from university Norman spent eight years teaching high school in Ontario and then moved to Winnipeg to take up a position with Richardson Securities. After retiring in 1987, he volunteered with CESO and he and Joan enjoyed many overseas assignments. Norman was proud of the achievements of his children and enjoyed the happy times spent with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will be at Cobourg, ON. If friends so desire donations in Normans memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
