WILLIAM "BILL" WOLCHUK Bill passed away on October 6, 2001 at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 82 years with his beloved wife Catherine at his side. Our dad was born on January 14, 1919 in Chatfield, MB. In his earlier years he was involved in the trucking business and later became a mechanic. Through the years he owned and managed several service stations. He also worked at Midway Chrysler and worked for the Department of National Defense, Kapyong Barracks, from which he retired. He never gave up his love of mechanics continuing on in his retirement years fixing whatever came his way. Bill is survived by his wife Catherine; his children, Evelyn (Gerry) Beauchamp, Brian (Sharon), Wayne (Milena), Debbie (Brian) Yascheshyn and his grandchildren, Jeremy (Shonda), Brock, Janelle, Cory (Melanie), Tara, David, Stephanie (Rob), Brandi and Patrick. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister Mary and sister-in-law Anne and daughter-in-law Judy. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Frozie and his brothers, John, Mike and Nick. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 9 (today) at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Dad will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons Cory Wolchuk, David Wolchuk, Jeremy and Brock Beauchamp, Patrick Yascheshyn and his nephew David Wolchuk.
