LESLIE JANINE CAMPBELL Leslie Janine Campbell was born to John and Ethel (Funk) Peterson at Winnipeg, MB on July 31, 1957. She grew up in the Winnipeg area and in 1976 she was married to Rick Geauvreau. For the next 21 years she lived and worked in Winnipeg and Landmark, MB. On November 22, 1997 at Baudette, Leslie was married to John Campbell and in December of that year she purchased the Baudette Bakery and Coffee Shop. She and John lived in the country west of Baudette in Boone Township. On Friday, October 5th she was involved in an automobile accident west of Pitt, MN. She was transported to Lakewood Health Centre at Baudette, but she had passed away before reaching the hospital. She was 44 years of age at the time of her death. In addition to John, she is survived by three daughters, Nicole Geauvreau of Winnipeg; P.F.C. Melissa Geauvreau of Ft. Hood, Texas; and Roxanne Geauvreau (living at home in Baudette) one step-son Mark Campbell (also living at home) her mother Ethel living in Winnipeg; five sisters, Laura - Mrs. Orest Lucki of Winnipeg; Janice - Mrs. Paul Giasson of Winnipeg; Joyce - Mrs. Roy White of Regina, SK; Judy Schapansky of Winnipeg; and Coralynn Peterson of Winnipeg; and one brother Curtis and wife Evelyne Peterson of Glenlea, MB. She was preceded in death by her father John in 1999 and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Leslie was a member of the Baudette Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Harley Owners Club, and a member of the Worship Team Singers at the Baudette Church Of The Living Water. She will be buried at Elm Park Cemetery at Baudette. Service will be held at the Church Of The Living Water, Baudette, MN, Wednesday, October 10 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Gens officiating. Visitation will be held at Helgeson Funeral Chapel, Baudette, on Tuesday, October 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. plus one hour prior to service at the church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. devotional service October 9th at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Curtis Peterson, Paul Giasson, Roy White, Denny Giasson, Mike Giasson, Sean Glowacki.
